Posisi dan Kualifikasi
Materials Manager (PEP)To support our operations with a variety of projects and challenging tasks in EPC Process Expansion, we are looking for highly motivated professionals eager for brave thinking, foster innovation, and build collaboration to achieve operational excellence
Some of your duties will include:
•Develop and implement a comprehensive materials management plan, including procurement strategies, vendor selection, and contract management.
•Collaborate with project teams and engineers to determine material requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct market researchto identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and securefavorable pricing and terms.
•Prepare purchase orders, track order status, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet projed timelines.
• Establish and maintain an efficient inventory control system to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
• Monitor inventory levels, usage, and consumption patterns to forecast future requirements accurately.
•Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, physical audits, and reconciliation, to maintain inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies or shortages promptly.
• Coordinate with project teams to manage surplus materials, return unused items, and optimize inventory turnover.
•Coordinate transportation activities to ensurethe timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to the construction site.
• Collaborate with logistics providers and freight forwarders to plan and optimize shipping routes, modes, and schedules.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolve any issues or delays, and ensure compliance with customs regulations and projet requirements.
• Manage customs clearance, documentation, and insurance for imported materials.
•Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and contractors
based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance criteria.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships withvendors, negotiate favor ableterms, and manage supplier performance.
•Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to assess quality, reliability, and adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations.
•Resolve any vendor-relatedissues, disputes, or non-compliance incidents promptly.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Minimum 15 years of experience in relevant industry
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in materials management, procurement, and logistics within the mining or construction industry, preferably in copper and gold processing plants.
- Strong knowledge of materials and equipment used in mining and processing operations.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control processes.
