Tax Specialist
Description:
- Ensuring full compliance in monthly and annual taxes, i.e., tax calculation, tax payment to State Treasury, tax filing submission to Tax Office, in accurate and timely manner
- Provide data of Tax Reconciliation Report between Expenses, Tax Payable, WHT objects
- Maintain coordination and relationship with related parties in terms of tax matters and ensure all tax process in the business unit runs well
- Organize and update the company’s tax database
- Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
- Liaise with internal (finance team) and external Auditors/Consultants
- Forecast tax predictions to finance managers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from reputable university majoring in finance, accounting, economics, business/business administration or relevant studies.
- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
- Excellent knowledge of local & International tax regulation
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in related field and domestic corporate tax filling
- Must have active English communication skill (verbal and written)
- Familiarity with accounting software packages
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong numeracy skills & Keen attention to detail
- Will work in Head Office (South Jakarta area)
