About the role
The Senior Supervisor Mining provides the removal overburden or interburden in a safe while promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe environment for everyone at work. Reporting to the Superintendent Mining and based on Toka Tindung Gold Mine Project on a 63/21 roster, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high quality solutions and results.
Some of your duties will include:
- To co-ordinate all Supervisor and Leading Hand Mining in the workplace of Mining Activity and Coordinated the all crews activity to achieve production target with safety condition, Safe environment, and Safe for Everyone in workplace Area
- Ensure All Haul Road OB are Maintained with good condition included with Loading & Dump areas are maintained with minimize a Bad Road Condition during loading activity
- Achieve daily targets of machine utilization for their area and ensure that crews are achieving productivity target for their area

- Ensure when clean up the coal/ or stocking are not mixed with other material
- Applicants should have a minimum graduated from Senior High School or Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering is preferred; requires a minimum 7 years' professional experience in similar role as Senior Supervisor Mining in large open cut mining operation;
- Mining heavy industry experience is essential; could operate mining equipment;Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; be able to operate computer; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; Posses POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certification at Mine and Energy Department; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

About the role
The Supervisor Mining will coordinate all operators and employees mining crew in the workplace while promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe environment for everyone at work. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor Mining and based on site on a 6/3 roster, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high quality solutions and result.
Some of your duties will include:
- To coordinate all operators and employees mining crew in the workplace of the removal of overburden/interburden in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area and Safe for Everyone in workplace area
- To achieve daily targets of machine utilization for their area and ensure that crews are achieving productivity target for their area
- Develop employees through training, coaching and experience to ensure maximum performance in current role and to ensure employees are capable of advancing to meet future growth of business
- Minimum Senior High School; Good English and can operate mining equipment
- Previous experience in a similar role at least two years in gold mine company
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience in large open cut mining operation of which at least one or two years in production/service Leading Hand/ management role.
- Mining heavy industry experience is essential
